At BM2 Freight, We Connect Great Shippers with Great Carriers.
When you’re working with chemicals and other Hazardous Materials, you have procedures in place that all your employees need to observe. You understand your responsibilities extend further than ordinary manufacturers’. We do too. We partner with a select network of Hazardous Materials carriers who continue your commitment to safety. From the moment of pick up to proof of delivery, we fulfill that extra responsibility.
BM2 Freight: Emphasizing Training and Certification in Hazmat Transportation
We know that a key to successful Hazardous Materials transportation is education. Of course, all of the carriers we partner with in shipping Hazardous Materials are Hazmat certified; additionally 95% of our Hazardous Material drivers have tanker endorsements. That is the foundation upon which our carriers build to remain top of the line Hazmat haulers. We encourage ongoing education and training; we monitor closely our carriers’ performance and attention to safety details.
BM2 Freight: Committing Resources to Confirm Temperature Control
We understand the vital importance of temperature control in moving temperature-sensitive materials. Too hot or too cold, either could mean disaster. So we partner with carriers who have a proven record of maintaining the environment of the chemicals they move. We use temperature control as one of our key performance indicators in our ongoing evaluation of our carriers and drivers.
BM2 Freight: Designing Protocols for Safety and Efficiency
We move both dry and temperature-controlled Hazardous Materials and we see where safety and efficiency need to intersect. We will always look for the fastest and safest transit. To that end, we design protocols to diminish the possibility of errors. With each job, we have a plan before pick up and a check in after drop off. Our customized TMS has the ability to communicate prior commodities carried so that proper clean out procedures are enforced and recorded. We can accommodate drums, totes, pails, and other containers. We have experience moving a variety of commodities such as: resin, water treatment chemicals, cleaners, coatings, and food flavorings (see Temperature Control - Food).
